About Us:

We are a busy and growing real estate law office based in Lynnfield, MA, with a team of professionals. We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Post-Closing Paralegal to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and completion of all post-closing financial and legal processes.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling post-closing procedures in residential real estate transactions, with a strong focus on financial accuracy and compliance. This role requires someone who is meticulous, highly organized, and confident managing sensitive financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the financial post-closing process for residential real estate transactions.
Send, receive, and verify wire transfers with absolute accuracy.
Reconcile and confirm all incoming and outgoing funds.
Prepare and issue checks as needed for files.
Balance files and ensure all financials are accurate and complete.
Review and work with HUD-1 Settlement Statements and Closing Disclosures (CDs).
Communicate with lenders, clients, and internal staff regarding post-closing matters.
Maintain organized and audit-ready files.
Prepare, review, and finalize post-closing files.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years of real estate paralegal experience.
Working knowledge of Qualia is a plus.
Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and closing processes.
Extensive experience handling wire transfers and financial reconciliation.
Familiarity with HUDs and Closing Disclosures (CDs).
Exceptional attention to detail — especially with financial data.
Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
High level of integrity and accountability.
